The Idea Behind 'SELF'

Welcome to my online exhibition for my final foundation year project.

In trying to come up with an original idea for this project to push my creative thinking and abilities further in my practise, I began to worry and take on other emotions of confusion and doubt in myself as an artist and creator. This was then turned into the site and idea for my final project, in looking into my emotions, thoughts and feelings from the begining to the end of this project. 

Throughout the project I go about exploring and recording my emotional ups and downs through my art work, in many different expressionist styles, through symbolism, painting, sculpting, casting, drawing and writing. This project goes through my own present anxieties and emotions surrounding the pressure one puts upon themselves, the isolation of the corona virus and being alone with yourself to sort through and process all the emotions that become increasingly overwhelming day by day.
